From: Thomas Sworder, Hertford; To: Robert How "Leagrave Marsh Common I inclose Mr.Benning's Letter of 30 April & 2 Copies Power of Attorney from me to you - as I cannot attend on 10th. Recollect I must not be put to any Expense if it can be avoided & I am willing to sell my Interest at a good Price. I do not know the Common nor my Interest in it & therefore I do not know whether it is advisable or not as far as I am concerned to inclose it. You must advise me as to this".
