Chequers I have made arrangements with Mr.Cumberland for the carrying over of the exchange and alteration of this property subject to the approval of yourself and Mr.Burr's trustees you are to be at no expense I will write you on this subject when Mr.C gets the answer from the trustees Tabernacle Old Brewery I have let the part of the building lately used by young Pates for a Chapel and they are paying £2 per month for the same. The Old Brewery you say looked deplorable I don't know what to do to improve it without spending money I have already spent a considerable sum in new spouting round the Malting as I feared it was taking damage. If you please to give me instructions I will have the whole put in order. I will forward you the rents as soon as collected. South Wales I have sent you a telegram to day [sic] to ask you to forward particulars of the estate at Cennen Tower. If I get it by Monday I will go and look at the property. If you write in answer to this I may get your letter in time and if so I will stop over Tuesday for the purpose and hope to be able to give you some opinion about it".
