Notice to quit served by John Morris on Mrs Charlotte Marshall to give up the Red Lion together with yard, premises and appurtenances, and all the farmyard, farm buildings, fields of sward and arable land in the parishes of Dunstable and Houghton Regis. Note on reverse ‘served a true copy of this on the premises by giving the same to Miss Kent in the presence of Miss Maria Marshall, there (sic) aunt Mrs Marshall being too ill to be seen – both of them promising me they would inform her of the circumstances’
