Grantham, Wrest Park to Amabel, Putney Heath He has received a letter from John Magenis, who holds a small living in Harrold. He enclosed a letter from the Bishop of Lincoln requiring him to raise the stipend of his curate higher than the present £100. He believes the living is worth no more than £180, despite being a large parish. He therefore offers to resign, and desires to know her wishes. He believes Mr Taylor would be suitable for the vacancy. Also discusses estate business, mentioning all the bills for the chapel have been received.
