Companies were billeted in ISLINGHEM - BLAMART - LA SA BLONIERE [sic] and LERONS. Map AMIENS 1/100,000) 15 Jan 1918 Battalion in billets at VAUVILLERS. 2nd Lieut.D.P.Cross rejoined from Course at HAYLING ISLAND 16 Jan 1918 Battalion in billets at VAUVILLERS Lieut.Colonel E.I.de S.Thorpe D.S.O. proceeded on leave prior to taking over command of 1st Bn.Bedfordshire Regt. 17 Jan 1918 Battalion in billets at VAUVILLERS. Lieut.Colonel H.S.Poyntz D.S.O. assumed command of the Battalion vice Lieut.Colonel E.I.de S.Thorpe D.S.O. to command 1st Battalion. 51 Other Ranks joined from base. 18 Jan 1918 - Warsy Battalion marched to WARSY arriving at 2.30 p.m. (ref.Map AMIENS Sheet 17) 19 Jan 1918 - Beaulieu-les-Fontaines The Battalion marched to BEAULIEU-LES-FONTAINES arriving at 5.30 p.m. Sick wastage 15 Other Ranks 20 Jan 1918 Battalion in billets BEAULIEU-les-Fontaines.
