Newspaper cuttings from Bedfordshire Times regarding Cardington Brewery - owned by Hickman family until the death of John Hickman in early 20th century when it was sold to a Bedford brewer (possibly Jarvis) and closed, the buildings being converted to a laundry for Mrs.F.Lindsell and carried on at her death by Miss Mills and Mrs.A.Duberly until water difficulties caused its closure and subsequent demolition
