    Abstract of Title of the guardians of the poor within the town of Bedford in the C of B to freehold building ground in the parish of St Peter. - Begins by reciting the Act of Parliament entitled 'An Act for the better relief regulation and employment of the poor within the town of Bedford 34 GeoIIIcap 98. - Lease and release 1) Earl of Ashburnham 2) Guardians of the poor for 416 all those pieces of arable land lying and bieng dispersed in common fields called Oak field 13a 0r 1p With plan 27/28 Nov 1794 - Lease and release 1) Wm Gery and Mary his wife 2) Mary Selina Gery, 3) Eleanor Gery 4) Hugh Wade Gery and Hester his wife (Mary Selina, Eleanor and Hester being the three daus and coheiresses of Wm Gery) 5) Heir at law of Thomas Burt, 6) guardians of the poor 7) Wm Belsham. recites marriage settlement of Wm and Mary Gery. 1-4) with the consent of 5) and in consid of 304 release to 6) - all those several pieces of arable land lying in Oak field with a small pightle called Cherry Pightle.
