I note that the manorial incidents can be redeemed at a total inclusive of costs of £5.4.4. My clients the Trawler Fish Co. Ltd. will accept responsibility for the payment of this sum and they would like to get this matter completed and out of the way as quickly as possible. Will you therefore please prepare and let me have the Deed of Receipt at once, and I will let you have cheque for £5.4.4. in exchange. It is quite possible that by the time this matter is completed the property will have been sold. I presume this does not matter to you. As between vendor and Purchaser the Vendor is accepting responsibility for redeeming the manorial incidents".
