From: A.Norman Gutteridge, High Street North, Dunstable to Benning & Hoare, Dunstable "Manor of Dunstable re Benjamin Bennett's Estate I thank you for your letter of the 8th inst with reference to the property formerly known as "the Anchor" but I cannot find that there were any Manorial incidents issuing out of this property which has been freehold for a very long time and nothing appears to have been paid to the Manor of Dunstable in respect of the property. I should be glad if you could let me have particulars of what incidents you allege. The Gross estimate of the property if £45 and if the Council offices are included this will add another £77".
