Three quarter length of Sergt Major J T Cox. Page taken from the eighth annual report of the Regimental Association of Old Comrades (X550/15/2) p43. J T Cox joined the Bedfordshire Regiment on 12 October 1857 and served with them for 21 years. The photograph was taken on the occasion of him having 50 years of continuous military service. He died in 1912 still srving after 55 years and 32 days.
