Various books have been given to (1) or bought, to found a public library in the parish of St John or elsewhere in Bedford; (1) is to have books so long as he allows them to be kept in the vestry at St Johns, which is to be used as a public library; and all who give 10 shillings or more to have the use of them; with schedule of books.
