I shall be very pleased to see you when you have a day off. Saturday is a day that I often have engagements, especially on the next few Saturdays, but if you would like to suggest a date I would see if I could fit it in, but many people only have weekends. Yes, I knew the last Duke of Buckingham & his second wife. He only had three daughters so the dukedom died out, but the eldest of his three daughters became Lady Kinloss, and I know a grandson of hers who lives at Wootton near Bedford. That title Kinloss goes in the female line (but not the dukedom). The duchess's surname was Grenville. Over here yesterday to tea I had the Duke of Bedford's heir, Lord Tavistock. He bought his second wife to introduce to me. She was a war widow & seemed a very charming person. They are going to South Africa for a while. The country is in a sad state, especially as to finance.
