I have been intensely busy lately. My son and his family have been staying with me and Christmas is threatening & requires much attention. I was expecting the Member over on Saturday but he failed me on account of his mother's illness. I can't remember the Grand Princess's Christian name nor can Cooper, but Lennox-Boyd would remember it. I will send you the Ampthill News. I can't say that the snap makes a very pretty picture. I am with the Rector & a farmer selling cauliflowers. I am sorry to have been so long without writing. I am quite well but still busy. [Forgive smudges. 120 wrongly dated.
