We have had a nice shower after a few very hot & dry days which has put back the crops, but I hope we may have more rain. My son & his wife have been staying with me & have just left. I don't think there is a Lord Shelley. Mr Shelley Rolls whose son brought out the Rolls Royces was made Lord Llangattock & they were of the same family as my nephew Sir John Shelley. But they left no male heirs. I knew them all. You seem to have gone for some pleasant bicycle rides, but it must be very hot. I keep very quiet. I am expecting a cow to calve before night. Rather anxious work in this heat.
