I have your letter of the 22nd this morning and am sorry that you have been laid up with a chill. I am sure you were right to give way to it. The sooner one gives in the quicker one gets out. I shall be delighted to see you on Saturday next the 29th and will expect you as before and hope St Michael may protect you "en route". I am glad that Major is behaving well and hope you will soon have full control over him - with the help of a muzzle. I fear it would be impossible to get material from Country Life now. It is a long time since I saw Christopher Hussey. The war has kept one so much from friends & relations. But in due course I hope I may get you some more books of the type you enjoy when we get straight through settling down in the Peace. I hope I may find some here such as Professor Richardson's "Smaller Houses" which I have mislaid. I wish I had known you before the great collection of salvage for the army, but though I sent thousands of books for that I don't think any of your sort. I have known several generations of the Sitwell family - Sacheverell's parents & grandparents but I have not met him, though I used to live in the house that he lives in now. I have read the elder brother's book "Right Hand Left Hand". Much looking forward to seeing you and having an interesting talk on Saturday. All good wishes
