"I am interested to get your further letter and should be very pleased to see you and have a good long talk with you. I quite agree with you that it is far better to travel alone, especially under war conditions. The days are getting nice & long now and the Country is looking very beautiful. So when you have the opportunity, pray suggest a time, giving me good notice that I may be sure of its being a day on which I would be free to see you. I will try and find Proffr.Richardson's book. I had to strip half the house for the military and this makes it difficult to find ones "objets d'art". Your collection of china sounds attractive. I was anxious to get rid of mine, before it was injured by bombs or otherwise. I fear I have no animals of interest to show you, as I used to have. If you have a photo of yourself that you could spare, I should appreciate it. I have many of young friends (soldiers & sailors)".
