5 June 1545 in court held in parish church of St. Paul in Bedford. SS Marie and Peter of Bedford. Notified that the wife of John Brwear keeps a "lonicinium" (? bawdy house) in his house. He appeared and denied the charge. He is asked for compurgers from among his neighbours.
