    Folio 79d - see also ABP/R11 81 - Thomas Odell of Cramfild, husbandman, made 15 May pr. 27 July 1545. Burial in church yard of Cramfild. To the high altar 20d.; to the bells 12d.; to an honest priest to sing 2 trentals for soul of testator within the next two years 20s.. 24 dozen loaves be distributed in bread at his burial; to the highway between testator's house and the church 6s. 8d.. To his son John 66s. 8d. which is to be paid within the next five years; of which sum testator's son William is to pay 13s. 4d. at Michaelmas next; and testator's son in law Robert Layne to pay 40s. at 13s. 4d. a year for the next three years; and son William to pay the rest of the sum of 66s. 8d. the fifth year. To son Richard 6s. 8d. and to each of his children 3s. 4d. and to his wife a gown. To John Eger testator's frieze coat. To William Odill the leather coat. To John Sutton a kirtle. To his godchildren 4d. each. Son William is to have the house where testator lives with all appurtenances, and the whole of the Bery Lote, that is to say Rode Mede with all that belongs to it; a grove called Wranckeley [Wrygley] late purchased of Spregnell, and half the orchard that sometime was Master Sherewoods. Son William also to have the crop on the ground with all cattle and household stuff. Residue at discretion of executor. Executor son William Odill, with John Odill of the Ferme overseer.
