To old John Crowe a russet jacket. To testator's wife's eldest son a black jacket. To testator's own child a great brass pot with a great pan and the table that stands in the hall. Wife is to have testator's house and land with his deeds to bring up testator's child for 18 years, after which time the property to remain to testator's child. However, if his child has died within the 18 years, then sir Mathew Moreland and William Conlyff, (his executors, to whom 40d. each) can sell the house and use the money for souls of testator and his friends. Wife not to fell or sell any wood or trees except for plashing and hedging. Residue to wife and child. Witnesses John Pawson, Robert Olney.
