    Folio 70 - see also ABP/11 Folio 68 - Richard Sutton of Langford made 29 Jan. 1542 pr. 22 May 1545. Burial in the church yard of St. Andrew in Sutton [sic]. To the high altar for tithes and oblations forgotten 12d.; to the mother church of Lincoln 4d.; to the maintenance of the Rood light 6d.; to the bells 6d.. To wife Agnes the copyhold where he dwells, with the appurtenances, for the term of her life or until she remarries, the property to be charged with an annual obit for the souls of testator and all Christians of 3s. 4d. during her lifetime. On her death property to go to their children. Should she remarry or die without surviving children, then property to go to testator's son John, provided he inhabits the house, which remains charged with 20d. a year for the obit. Should son John sell the house and appurtenances, then he and testator's son Thomas to have half the money, the other half to be used for the souls of testator and his friends. Residue to go to wife Agnes to use for souls. Sole executrix wife Agnes, and Robert Walles is to help her, to whom 3s. 4d.. Supervisor to be sir William Demelton clerk, to whom 3s. 4d.. Witnesses sir William Demelton curate there, Richard Grene, John Pewterer.
