    Folio 55d - see also ABP/R11 Folio 48d - John Bonner of Medelton Bryan made 4 Nov. proved 18 Nov. 1544. Burial in the church yard of St. Peter in Medelton. To high altar 2d., to the bells 3 bushel of barley. Two loads of stones are to be laid in the street under testator's wall. To son Robert enough timber to make him a cart and a plough, and he to have cart gear and plough gear and a couple of steers, 2 quarters of barley one this year and another next year, also testator's great coffer and his lesser brass pot, his best violet coat, his great coffer [sic], an acre of this year's tilth (paying the rent for it), 2 pewter dishes. Wife Alys to have her dwelling in testator's house, and to have all "inward" moveables to her own use until Michaelmas, with free access in and out. If she does not remain there then she is to have all the goods she brought to testator on their marriage. To wife also a cow, 3 bushel of wheat, 2 bushel of barley and a bushel of rye, a store of bees and a hog. Residue to be divided equally between testator's sons John and Robert. To Joan Spayne, testator's daughter's daughter, half a quarter of barley and a coffer. To Jone Baylyff a bushel of barley. To son John 3 horses and a cart and cart gear, a plough and plough gear, and the third part of testator's crop, also the best bass pot. Son John to be executor, with testator's brother Thomas Boner supervisor, who is to have 3s. 4d.. Witnesses William Lucy, Valentyne Crowley, Robert Lymby, Thomas Wod.
