Court held by Master Thomas Reyner on 2 October 1537 in the parish church of St. Paul in Bedford. Steventon. Richard Darling and Margaret Taler said to live in adultery. He denied rumour and said he did frequent the company of the woman. He to give 5s. to the churchwardens. The woman to be removed from his house, and he to meet her only in the presence of others.
