Court held in Sowthill parish church 4 December 1539. Eversholt Agnes Freman had been made pregnant by a certain Robert Greman and she was ordered to do penance and go before the processional cross round Eversold churchyard in penitential garb the next Sunday, and Thomas Eton apparitor certified that this was done.
