Articles of Agreement between the releasees (as in BORDV13/23) of the one part and the releasor (as in BORDV13/23) of the other whereby the releasees covenant and declare with the releasor that the several deeds, papers and writings relating to the premises enumerated in a schedule (viz., in order, BORDV13/1-9, 11-15, 18-19, 10, 16-17 and 20-23) shall remain deposited with the releasor as a collateral security and equitable mortgage of the premises until the whole of the £2,000 secured in BORDV13/24 is paid and satisfied. Recites contract for sale of 'the Priory' dated 24 July 1839 and mutual agreement to pay as in BORDV13/24. Witnesses: JK as in BORDV13/24 and J.H. Holdsworth as in BORDV13/23. 13 Nov 1839. NOTE: Deeds for Priory House subsequent to 1839 are held by South Bedfordshire District Council.
