(b) the capital messuage or manor house with appurtenances situated in the South St. of Dunstable and late in the occupation of TC, deceased, with the orchard, yard and garden belonging thereto: as in BORDV13/4(a). (c) 2 closes of pasture adjoining to (b) and called 'the Pryory' (as in BORDV13/4(a)) also late in the occupation of TC and which were, by an Indenture of Bargain and Sale of 23 May 1673, inrolled in the High Court of Chancery, and other assurances executed about the same time, conveyed by Sir John Napier, bart., and Roger Gillingham to Robert Crawley (as in BORDV13/1), grandfather of JL, in fee and were therein mentioned to be in the tenure or occupation of Robert Haddon of Dunstable, baker, or his assigns by virtue of a demise made to him thereof for the term of divers years then to come and unexpired. (d) messuage or tenement with appurtenances situated in South St., Dunstable, formerly in the tenure or occupation of William Eames the elder and late of TC and now of John Miles and his assign(s), bounded by (b) on the one side and the tenement late of Jane Lee, widow, and now of [ ] on the other side and abutting frontwise on Watling St. Covenant by releasors to levy a fine before the end of Trinity Term next ensuing.
