Letter from Leonard Withers of 38 Lambert Cottages, Port Tennant, Swansea: - I got home safe Sunday. - It is a rotten day again today. My father isn't working and Jack has had his pegging stopped so we will have it wet for grazing over the Xmas if things don't alter. - Annie Scott has been taken to the Hospital with appendicitis. Mrs. Owens was brought home about ½ hr ago. - I'm sorry I didn't write yesterday when I saw the placards this morning. It had in big letters Swansea cyclist killed and I have been wondering all morning and now of what you will think if you see it. I heard this morning it was a man on the Mumbles Road. - Has your tooth been giving you any trouble? - Our Jack has had an answer from the club about his false teeth. They are paying £3/15/3 and Jack has to pay £2/3/9 or very near it.
