Auction by Joseph Stower in conjunction with Arthur W. Merry at the Swan Hotel, Leighton Buzzard 26th October 1915. The 35 lots include lot 3 Comp Farm, lot 4 Eaton Bray Smithy, lot 16 Church Lane Cottages, lot 20 Moor End Farm, lot 26 Moor End Mill, Mill House and Corn Mill. The details for lot 11 (Park Farm) include The Lordship of the Manor or reputed Manor of Eaton Bray with such rights, royalties and privileges as belong thereto. The photographs included in the sale book are of lot 5 (a freehold smallholding, Eaton Bray) lot 9 Rye Farm, lot 10 Old Ley Farm, lot 11 Park Farm, lot 12 Eaton Bray Lodge, lot 13 Church Farm, lot 21 Yew Tree Farm, lot 25 a picturesque two story cottage at Moor End and lot 28 the Abbey House at Edlesborough Road. Reference is made to the marriage settlement of Arthur Macnamara and Lady Sophia Macnamara dated 1854 and to the settlement contained in the will of John Pedley who died in 1838 in the conditions of sale section 6.
