- TitleLetter from John Beasley Junior at Thorpelands, Northampton to Samuel Swaffield: "Mr.Thos.Parsons called at our office on Saturday and stated that you had authorised him to offer to my Father 84 acres of land in Irchester. My Father was at the time away from home, but he has returned now & desired me to write to you and say he is much obliged for that offer, and that if you will write to me here, and send full particulars as to quantity of Land, all outgoings thereon, and a map he will at once take an opportunity of going over it. It would save trouble if you would let us know your estimation as to price. I was at Ampthill Park the other day, the property must be wonderfully altered and improved since you went over it with my father."
