Fletton, Crown & Crowhurst Brick Company Limited The Fletton, Crown & Crowhurst Brick Co. Limited was floated in 1898, and represented a strong London interest. It had just under half its issued capital as cumulative preference shares. In 1902 the workers went on strike to protest about the reduction in wage rates because of the depressed trade. The Fletton, Crown & Crowhurst Brick Co. Limited was purchased by the London Brick Company Limited in 1920.
