Particulars and conditions of sale of property in Stevington and Stagsden Bedfordshire to be sold by auction by Stafford, Rogers and A W Merry Limited at the Swan Hotel, Bedford on 11th September 1943 being the estate of C Ibbott, deceased viz: (a) Tythe Farm, Stevington, adjoining the road from Turvey to Bedford, containing farmhouse with various outbuildings including cow yard, sheep yard, horse yard, top yard partly covered by Dutch barn and stables. Two brick and tile cottages (in OS 161) each with cooking range, ECs, barns and gardens. Contains schedule giving description, OS numbers for occupiers and details of cultivation for total acreage of 354a 3r 38p with note that the property is sold subject to the obligation of repairing the Chancel of Stevington Church. (b) Ducksworth Farm, Stagsden situated on main road from Bedford to Newport Pagnell containing timber framed, rough cast and tiled house with open roofed kitchen containing copper baking oven, cellar, various farm buildings including cow house, calf pen, piggeries, meal house, implement shed, cart shed, chaff house, garage, stables granary, barns, three open yards supplied with water by a pump from the moat to three iron water troughs and detached Dutch barn. Two cottages (OS No 130) built in 1892 with cooking ranges, outbuildings containing barn with baking ovens and copper and gardens with water pumps.
