Archival history
It is not known how the collection came into the possession of the Borough, although some are obviously copies taken from a commercial sources. The descriptions were supplied by Mr J Armstrong and a friend at Cardington in 1977 for the Borough Archivist, Mr Gilmore (see BorBK 2/9/10).
System of arrangement
On receipt by the County Record Office in 1996 the photographs were very muddled up. They were therefore sorted into subject order by airship, work and workers and miscellaneous.
