to his brother Joseph Franklin for life an annuity of £10, after arrears of
rent due from a property at Watford, Herts., have been settled.

freehold messuage and lands lately purchased of Mr. Kidgel Sandon at
Edlesborough in Bucks;

... moiety of the manor or messuage at Stanbridge in L.B. now in the tenure
of William Capp, and other lands in Leighton Buzzard and Linslade,

all of which are to pass to his good friends William Firth of L.B. gent,
John Cooper of LB, tanner, and Joseph Burnham of Aylesbury, gent. and
their heirs, to be held to uses, i.e.
to the use of the testator's kinsman John Franklin eldest son of his
late newphew John Franklin deceased for term of life and to
heirs male, in default of which
to the use of nephew Thomas Franklin son of late brother Thomas F.
and heirs male, in default of which
to use of nephew William Franklin and heirs male, in default of which
to the use of kinsman Arthur Franklin other son of late nephew John
