Title
Copy Will of William George Lovell of 'The Elms', Bedford, appointing his nephew John William Gulland of 8 Claremont Crescent, Edinburgh and his brother-in-law William Seys Phillips of Bedford, schoolmaster, as his trustees and executors, and devising to each of then a legacy of 100; unto his sister, Caroline Lovell all his family portraits and an annuity of 150; unto his nephews George Lovell Gulland and John William Gulland legacies of 1000, and unto his niece, Elizabeth Lovell Osborne, 500; the residue of his real and personal estate to his trustees in trust for sale to be applied to the founding and endowment of Almshouses in the memory of his son, Sydney Howard Lovell, as an addition to the fund given by the will of his wife, as in X 880/4/1. Including scheduled directions and regulations for the foundation and management of the Almshouses. Noted W.G.L. died at 'The Elms' on 13 Jul 1909
