Squire, late of Hertford, then of Cheshunt Park, Herts., gent. (iii) Her 2nd. s. Wm. of Hertford, mealman. (iv) Jn. Payne of Newell, par. of Wath, Yorks., gent. and Sarah his w. (nee Squire) (v) Wm. Pryor of the Poultry, London and w. Eliz. (nee Squire) (vi) Robt. Manser of Hertford, auctioneer. (Rec. in part of 10/1-2. 4 children above from that marr. Rec. in part of 10/3. Rec. Wm. Squire husband of i died in December, 1081, then i entered into estate in Maulden & Clophill for life as in 10/1-2. 10/3 provided estate to go to dtr. Sarah after her death and vested estate tail in ii. But strictly Wm. Squire only tenant for life to above lands under 10/1-2. Therefore had no right to leave these to dtr. Sarah in his will or to anybody else except to the reversion in fee of the premises. But ii agreed to follow his father's will in every detail and i to relinquish her right of appointment.) mess.
