    Letter: from Richard Dillingham at No 21 Kite & Balloon Section RFC Camp, [France] to Christine Dillingham at Kings Road, Flitwick - writer has had another busy day of marching and drilling; - runs through details of the day; - notes they had a trench digging exercise; - "What it will be like when we get all out things in our pack I don't know as the majority of us had only got about half our things in our pack"; - notes he has received a letter form her and is pleased she is getting on alright; - comments he understands how lonely she must feel and asks her not to worry too much; - notes when he returns they will have some good times again and will make up for the miserable times - "Everybody here thinks it will all be over very shortly and we should have peace before Christmas"; - is glad that both mother and father are feeling better; - asks how Kate Atkins is getting on; - hopes she will get on alright with her five "little lodgers"; - asks if Ben still goes to School and what does Richard do while he is away; - is sorry the potatoes out of the garden are going bad; - "May God take care of you all the while I am away and bring me safely back home to you again";
