- TitleLetter: from Richard Dillingham at No 21 Kite & Balloon Section RFC Camp, [France] to Christine Dillingham at Kings Road, Flitwick - writer has just received two letters from his wife and is pleased to say that he is keeping well; - notes he is feeling fed up with the time they have to work and the way things are done there, "Its no use grumbling we just have to grin and bear it"; - notes they have been very busy and they have just received a new "blister" which they have had to fill; - comments by the time they have finished working, had tea, washed its time for lights out at nine-thirty; - is sorry to hear about A Gillet after reading about it in the Bedfordshire Times, "what will his poor wife do I wonder with six children" and thinks that Bert Barker and Jack will be "ashamed of themselves after this"; - is sorry for John Wilson as they seem to have a lot of trouble with their children; - notes she seems to be having problems with the children but that they are "simply full of life"; - doesn't think she should send Ben to School this winter, but wait to Spring, as it is a long way for him to go;
