Tell her from me that it is about time she made a start and did something towards helping the country"; - comments that he doesn't think Martha's brother will get into the R.F.C. as he has got no trade but guesses the "old girls tongue doesn't half go"; - notes that he is glad the children liked their Postcards and that she has a job with the children sometimes; - comments that he is glad that her Ramblers are growing;
