    Letter: from Richard Dillingham at No 21 Kite & Balloon Section RFC Camp, [France] to Christine Dillingham at Kings Road, Flitwick - writer is getting on as well as things will allow and is pleased to say that he is "still alive and kicking"; - notes they are having an easy time compared with some of the "poor beggars round here" - comments they are still in the same place and under canvas, which is better than under the stairs; - is sorry to hear about poor old George; - asks for details of G Tansley and Archie Ayler regiments so that he can contact them; - expects she feels a bit lonely, especially on a Sunday night after Mother and Father have been around; - "Never mind my dear lets hope the war will soon be over and I shall be back home again with you"; - notes he is glad that she is getting on alright with the gardening; - asks how are the children getting on and expects that she has a job to keep them in; - asks have the children done any gardening lately, "I should love to see them just when they are busy with it";
