    Letter: from Richard Dillingham at RFC Camp, Lydd [Kent]; to Christine Dillingham at Kings Road, Flitwick - writer has received a letter from his wife in which she has expressed that she was upset by his last letter home; - comments that he is glad that May sleeps over; - hopes that Harry will be able to get into the RNAS and that Rose [Christine Dillingham's sister] is alright; - asks his wife to visit his mother, "as it will help to take things off her mind" - "I can just guess what a lively time there was up the alley when they went for those Caravan Chaps, but it is a pity they cant take all that class of people for what good they are. I'll bet they have cooled down the one they did take by now"; - expects to be home for the weekend; - asks how her Mother, Father, Lou and Mary are getting on?; - notes he is glad the children are better and would love to take them out on a walk; - notes that the Zeppelins have been in the area, although he hasn't seen one yet; - comments there is good news in the papers and that he may get his Christmas Dinner at home; - notes he was picked out as the smartest man on guard parade so was given the "stick" for the second time, "which is considered a feather in my cap"; - comments if he does get home he will call at Luton to see about the photos; - "So cheer up and Saturday will soon come round again and so will the end of the war";
