Archival history
Captain G.H. Onslow was commissioned 2nd Lt. in the 2nd Bn. Bedfordshire & Hertfordshire Regiment on 30th January 1936. He served with the battalion in Palestine 1936-39, and was killed leading his company on the Dunkirk beaches in May 1940.
