Letter from Capt A Hopkinson, 14th Infantry brigade, Anti-tank coy, MEF to Margot Taylor. 3 weeks of continuous fighting, got bullet wound through right arm but was only kept out of action for 2 days. Quotes brigadier's message to the troops 'this sounds rather like blowing our own trumpet but I dont know how much you hear of this in England. We have no papers here'
