Bedfordshire Lunatic Asylum. John Miller. Discusses the site for the asylum and patterns for grates and fireguards. Candidates for Keeper to be seen by the magistrates on 27th. Gave Howard (Jailor) a severe reprimand. If Lord Tavistock had not stayed the Magistrates would have been eclipsed by the clergy.
