Papers and correspondence Letter from Hector to Kitty thrown out of a train window on to the platform of Bletchley Station, while he was passing through to Queen Mary's Hospital, Whalley, Lancs., after being wounded in France. Envelope, written in pencil, is endorsed 'Soldiers letter (from the Front to Hospital). Will finder Kindly post.' Informs sister where he is going and says 'As we shall go through Bletchley shall throw this out on the off chance. How tantalising, so close to home.'
