Title
Letter from F B [on thin copy paper] to 'My dear Mary'. Trustees have no power to grant her request. He has been very unwell. Peter's conduct has caused him some pain. She already owes the Bank £37 and he cannot ask his partners to do any more. Is a demand for young stock at this time of year and would be better to sell rather than having them sold for her. When the trustees paid over the monies to different members of her family, he stated that he could not interfere further as at his age it was necessary to be free from outside trouble.
