  • Title
Letter [on thin copy paper] from F Bassett to Henry Tylor. Could not reply yesterday as was in Town and could not refer to his books. It is true that he has paid off the notes in £150 but writer has advanced £1061 to keep up the policies on which there is a balance of £496 16s 'leaving me £564 9s 7d to the bad'. He will let next 2 payments be £25 instead of £50. Is glad Anna May is shaking off her rheumatism. Writer suffers from the same condition himself and at times finds it hard to write. Has had a great deal of anxiety on dear Louie's account, she was very ill with diptheria. Anxiety almost more than Ellen could bear in her weak state
