Copy [on thin copy paper] from Frederick Bassett, the Knolls, Leighton Buzzard, to 'My dear Father'. He has signed the letter to the trustees. 'As to Mr Barclay's legacy, if it can be managed pay it', but would be a pity to complicate matters for so small an affair. Does not matter which security is realised.
