  • Title
Small quarto book as above, used from both ends (ff. 1-22, 1-27) (Society's no. 4) This is definitely an artist's notebook (as opposed to the sketchbooks above); i.e., it contains very little finished work, but many sketches of small details with notes. The signature "Bradford Rudge, Coventry, 1830" appears to be in the hand of Rudge; and the sketches (e.g. the trees) appear to be his work. One fo. loose. Watermarked J Whatman Turkey Mills 1526
