See also BorBB 24 The following records of the Bedford Burial Board and of the Cemetery were deposited in November 1982 by Mr B. Swift of the Parks Division, North Bedfordshire Borough Council. Many of the volumes had been badly affected by damp, and it was accordingly decided that only a small sample should be retained for permanent preservation. No registers of burials have been destroyed, but the accounting records have been severely weeded.
