    Dear Mr Janes, Thank you for your recent letter concerning the matter of a new site for Sundon Park Church. This matter was fully discussed by the Advisory Committee Meeting on 1st February and the unanimous opinion was that the best thing to do was to retain the present site as it was deemed the most suitable, and to erect a new temporary building which could be used for meetings of a devotional character, thus leaving the present building for socials, games etc. The new building would be erected between the present building and the road. The Advisory Committe passed a resolution that the Full Council meeting on March 21st "be asked to consider ways and means to erect a new temporary building on the present site". It was further resolved that I write to you in view of your great experience and knowledge in these matters and to ask if you can give us any guidance in the course of action to take. Some members of the Council feel that you might know of some temporary buildings that have been erected for some specific purpose or other but are now idle owing to the specific purpose having been completed. Do you know of such a building or buildings, and if so can you give any idea of cost of such a building, or the cost of removal and erection. It is understood that you could only give an estimate cost in view of changing conditions in these days, but it may be that you could let us know approximately what we shall be more or less letting ourselves in for by way of expenditure. You will be pleased to learn that we are receiving more encouraging reports from Sundon. They have been helped in recent weeks by the advent of two good Baptist Families to the area.
