Letter to H C Janes from Joan Smith (Secretary), 183 High Town Road, Luton. Discussion of Sundon Park Church and required temporary building.

Dear Mr Janes, I enclose herewith 2 further letters for Mrs Janes. I have received a letter from Mr Dennis with regards to Sundon Park - I enclose a copy for you. Since receiving this letter I have spoken to Mr Dennis on the telephone to try to find out what sort of temporary building they had in mind and he mentions either a Nissen Hut or wooden building, of a similar size to the present hut. I have had a word with Mr Sell about this but he has no knowledge of anything available here but I am asking Mr Baker about this to see if he can find out the approximate cost of a building of this type. I do not know whether you have any sugguestions to make with regard to this matter. I have received a post card from Magdaleine saying that she is returning to Luton on Saturday of this week.
